After Valentine’s Day, the Donda rapper announced his participation at the music festival in a now-deleted post.

VENUE PROBLEMS

Ye’s upcoming performance comes amid his struggles to find arenas that will allow him to showcase his latest album.

Despite maintaining a solid fanbase, the Flashing Lights singer was rejected by promoters in MadridBerlin, Cologne, and Munich.

He hoped to win over promoters in AsiaAustralia, and the Middle East but was met with a similar response.

“His reputation and the controversies in the last few years are the main reason for this,” an insider explained to The U.S. Sun.

SCHOOL’S IN SESSION Kanye West’s Donda Academy is still operating at secret location after his old ranch campus was abandoned amid scandal

“Now. almost no companies that manage arenas or stadiums want to allow him to do shows on their venues.”

Organizers had strong feelings about the 46-year-old star over his online rant about Jesus Christ and Hitler in December 2023, and the unconventional photos of his wife, Bianca Censori, have raised plenty of eyebrows.

Brianca’s husband is hopeful about a potential performance in Milan, where he wants to play at the famous San Siro soccer stadium.

Inter Milan fans were featured in his song, Carnival.

He was spotted watching a match in Milan last week and has good relations with Inter’s ownership group.

“The majority of the board are still against the idea of allowing him to use the stadium to have his show,” the insider added.

“They know that Kanye’s presence and having him doing shows at a stadium can have them make a lot of money, but the risk, and the image, is more important for the arenas and stadium owners.

“It’s going to be really, really complicated for Kanye to do shows in Europe,” the source concluded.

THE REBRAND

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian‘s ex-husband has rebranded Donda Academy to focus on basketball, choir, and dance.

In early March, the U.S. Sun reported that the new Donda Ray Academy moved to a warehouse space in Chatsworth in the San Fernando Valley.

An insider told The U.S. Sun the star is “determined not to give up on the kids” despite the school getting off to a rocky start.

In addition to its original ranch campus being abandoned, two lawsuits were filed by former staffers over the alleged bizarre practices at Donda Academy.

A lawyer for the hitmaker, Gregory Suhr, denied allegations made by ex-teachers and claimed the depictions of the school as a dystopian institution designed to satisfy Kanye’s idiosyncrasies were false.
