I get body shamed for posing in a bikini as a mum but won’t stop… I look the best I ever have and am proud to have abs

Glam mum Jen has been honest about her training regime and tweakements

IT seems no matter what you do as a mum, someone will always have something to criticise you about.

Despite being enviably toned, mum-of-four Jen Ferguson still found herself being body-shamed for how she looked.

Like many women, she’d felt the pressure to look good after giving birth to her youngest son Atlas.

Between juggling a growing family, a husband and creating content for social media, she worked hard to feel like herself again.

After spending months in the gym working out, she later showed off her impressive results in leggings and a sports bra.

Whilst her 26,000 followers were in awe of her achievement, others weren’t so supportive about the influencer’s snaps.

In a pointed follow-up Instagram post, the mum-of-four has hit back the haters by wearing a Barbie pink bikini – which only enhanced her curves.

Rather than letting the beautiful picture speak for itself, the content creator wrote in the caption: “Guys, remember my previous post from the other day where I expressed how hard I’ve worked on my post-baby weight-loss journey, losing 70lbs from keeping a healthy diet and exercise?

“Well, I was body shamed after I posted that by a couple of females! The same group also shamed me for my past eating disorders that I’ve been vocal about in order to help others!

“I was so proud of my baby abs starting to make an appearance and I still am proud. It doesn’t bother me as much as my body clearly bothers them.”

Having spent years fight her body issues, the blonde bombshell decided to forgive the women who had targeted her.

Jen even admitted that she’d judged other women in the past, especially when she’d been desperately unhappy with her own appearance and while struggling with an eating disorder.

Apologising to those she’d hurt in the past, she added: “I am incredibly regretful if I ever hurt anyone!!! I have not been that person in a long time, thanks to a ton of therapy. Therefore, I forgive these women.”

I’m plus size & was bodyshamed at a supermarket for my ‘inappropriate outfit’ but I had the perfect comeback

However, this wouldn’t stop the influencer from enjoying her body.

Referring to her extremely toned abs, she wrote: “Say ‘hi’ to my bikini body as I’ll post in bikinis/whatever the F I want all spring and summer long!

“It isn’t perfect, but at the same time it is because I created two beautiful babies with this body!”

Thankfully, many of Jen’s fan also came to her defence in the comments after she shared the candid admission.

“Sorry that happened to you,” commented one shocked fan, adding: “I think most of us would be happy to have your body.  You look great…”

Others agreed, with another enraged fan saying: “No, your body is pretty much perfect. What is wrong with women sometimes.”

A third even accused the trolls of being jealous of the content creator’s svelte frame, stating: “There’s always gonna be someone jealous. Never has anything honestly to do with you… it’s their insecurities and they’re projecting it on to you!”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
