Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz Flaunt PDA Amid Super Bowl Performance Criticism

Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards

Alicia Keys is embodying the lyrics of her hit 2007 track, “No One,” proving that people can say what they like, but they can’t get in the way of what she feels for Swizz Beatz.

The renowned songstress recently faced backlash for her performance at this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. Many criticized the 43-year-old’s voice crack and intimate moment with Usher; however, she and her husband remain unbothered thanks to their unwavering union.

Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz Are Soaring Above The Super Bowl Criticisms

Keys and Beatz happily enjoyed Valentine’s Day with plenty of PDA, which they showcased on the singer-songwriter’s Instagram page. She shared three slides of the couple’s intimate moment in a private jet, capturing her seated on her beau’s lap.

In the first snap, the “Girl On Fire” hitmaker beamed brightly as her husband planted a passionate kiss on her cheek. Next came a zoomed-out picture showing the couple’s full glam, particularly Keys’ unique socks.

The 43-year-old paid tribute to her longtime relationship with Beatz on Valentine’s, by rocking white socks with a picture of the couple in all-white ensembles. She matched this special declaration of love with cargo pants, a white crop top, and complimenting white sneakers.

Meanwhile, Beatz donned an all-black ensemble featuring a bomber jacket and sweatpants. Per his signature style, the record producer completed his look with dark shades — a theme he similarly rocked in the picture illustrated on his wife’s socks.

Keys captioned the sweet carousel with her eternal love, writing, “I love u sooo deeply. Beyond words. Beyond lifetimes. Beyond skies and universes. We soar!!!!” Naturally, her lover responded to her declaration in kind.

He dropped several heart and flower emojis alongside the comment, “We are Giants. Cheers to Love.” The couple’s PDA session comes three days after Keys’ Super Bowl appearance, and her fans were proud of the duo’s united front amid the drama.

“Half time show was meant for entertainment only,” someone clapped back at critics, with another writing, “She said a big f— u to everyone lmao.” A third sang Beatz’s praise, declaring: “He ain’t worried about no d— performance. He is a real man and knows what he has and what she has for him!!”

“She had to show y’all who really makes her smile… her MAN!!” an IG user claimed, with another fan agreeing, “That’s HER BOO get it?? Okay, good.” Others expressed their love for Keys socks, and their support also radiated through the significant number of likes, with over 500k hearts.

Swizz Beatz Defended His Wife’s Super Bowl Performance

Fans’ love for Beatz skyrocketed following his immediate shutdown of hatred towards his wife’s Super Bowl performance. Keys faced backlash after her voice cracked while singing her hit “If I Ain’t Got You,” but showrunners seemingly edited the vocal error on the NFL’s YouTube page.

She also faced heat for sharing an intimate hug with Usher during their joint performance of his song “My Boo.” Beatz didn’t care about the criticized hug-from-behind or his wife’s voice crack and told fans to focus on the right things in a classy reaction to the drama.

He shared pictures of Keys’s performance on Instagram, with the first directing attention to the stunning red Dolce & Gabbana bejeweled catsuit and billowing cape she wore during her piano solo. He captioned the carousel, “Y’all talking about the wrong da— thing !!! Y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium.”

“Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants! Congrats @usher and my love @aliciakeys, that song is a classic,” Beatz continued, proving he was not upset about the singer’s intimate hug with his wife.

“We don’t do negative vibes on this side. We make history,” the record producer concluded his post. This isn’t the first time Beatz has publicly expressed his adoration and support for Keys.
