Nicole hit the red carpet with her family on Saturday as she was honored with the AFI Life Achievement Award in Hollywood, California.
The gala – which took place at the Dolby Theatre – celebrated the movie star for her milestone career in the entertainment industry.
The Big Little Lies lead stunned in a custom Balenciaga skintight gold sequined gown that hugged her curves and hit the floor with a dramatic train.
Nicole looked decades younger in the number, showing off major cleavage with the sweetheart neckline.

The blonde went for full glam makeup and had her signature blonde hair styled in a blowout.
The Eyes Wide Shut star was joined by her husband Keith Urban, 56, and their two daughters, Sunday, 15, and Faith, 13, for their first red carpet appearance.
Nicole also shares two children with her ex Tom Cruise, 61, Isabella and Connor, though they were not in attendance.
During her acceptance speech, the actress paid tribute to her children, saying she felt she had an “enormous amount of luck in my life.”
She added, “There’s also the most important thing, love. Big, big love. And then right there is the love of my life and the loves of my life.
“My daughters have never been anywhere publicly with me on a red carpet, tonight was their first night, so they’re here, Sunday and Faith.”

In her conversation with the outlet, Nicole gave fans an inside scoop on the future of her career.
The TV star’s newest project, the drama series Expat, premiered in January.
“I’m fortunate that I’ve got a job where I get to explore emotional landscapes that are heavy, strange, extraordinary, bizarre, beautiful, deep,” she explained.
“I don’t shy away from them, partly because I’m committed to examining life, what it means to be alive and feel.”
