A UTAH influencer has filed for divorce on the same day she shared a heartwarming video of her husband in the hospital celebrating the birth of their third child.
Aspyn Ovard filed a petition to split from her husband Parker Ferris just weeks after they celebrated their latest pregnancy with a romantic vacation.
Ovard, 28, filed the petition on Monday, according to records exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun.
The records showed instruction on how the couple needs to act throughout the court process, but did not include a response from Ferris.
It comes as a shock to fans of the popular YouTuber who have been tuned in for the birth of her third child.
Also on Monday, Ovard shared a heartwarming video on TikTok of Ferris pointing and smiling at his wife’s stomach in a hospital room.
On Tuesday, she confirmed that her daughter was born prematurely, but was doing well and recovering in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Neither Ovard nor Ferris have commented on the filing, and The U.S. Sun has reached out to them for comment.
For over a decade, the couple has grown their social media audience by sharing every major milestone of their relationship.
In 2015, after they had already amassed nearly 1 million followers on YouTube, they announced their engagement.
Just months later, they got married in a romantic ceremony in Utah, where they are both from.
The young lovers went on to grow their following by sharing pregnancy announcements and child birth videos.
At the beginning of March, Ovard and Ferris went on a “babymoon” to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where they celebrated a third pregnancy.
“Still can’t believe I have survived another pregnancy and have another little girlie in my belly,” she captioned the now-heartbreaking post.
Ovard went on to post more PDA-filled pictures of Ferris as the birth approached.
YOUTUBE LOVE
Ovard was just 19 years old when she married Ferris, who was 20 at the time.
In 2019, the pair announced they were pregnant with their first child in a video that amassed over 2 million views.
The couple rocketed to fame on YouTube for giving followers an inside look at their lives as young parents.
They would also do fun challenges such as having Ferris wear a belly and pretend to be pregnant for a day with his wife.
