Country music star Chris Young is releasing a new song for his fans to celebrate charges being dropped against him in Nashville, Tennessee.

As The Post reported, Young, 38, was arrested Jan. 22 at Nashville bar the Dawg House and charged with disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer and resisting arrest after an alleged altercation with agents from the Tennessee Beverage Commission, whom he encountered in an adjacent bar, the Tin Roof.

Officials said Young’s eyes were “bloodshot and watery” and that his speech was slurred. He posted $2,500 bond and was released from custody the next morning.

“Regarding the Chris Young incident, after a review of all the evidence in the case, the Office of the District Attorney has determined that these charges will be dismissed,” Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk said in a statement.

The DA’s office reviewed evidence including security camera footage, according to a press release from the DA.

“Mr. Young and I are gratified with the DA’s decision clearing him of the charges and any wrongdoing,” Young’s attorney, Bill Ramsey, said in a statement.

Young, wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket and a white T-shirt, posted a video message on Instagram Thursday thanking his fans for their support — and adding that he had a big surprise in store for them.

“Hey guys, so I just wanted to say something. You know, I’m still processing a lot through the false accusations and everything that went on in the past week,” Young said. “But I wanted to say first and foremost, thank you to everybody that had my back.

“It meant the world to me and I had so many friends and fans reach out and say ‘we got you, we don’t believe any of this.’

“So it’s really nice to see the charges get dismissed,” he continued. “It’s not something I wish anybody has to go through ever. But, like I said, the bright spot was seeing just all the love and support.”

Young then said he was dropping a new song from his new album, “Young Love & Saturday Nights,” “as a thank you to you guys because this was not planned.”

The record is slated to be released March 22 on Sony Music Nashville. He will then head out on his “Young Love & Saturday Nights” tour.

“We’re going to put out ‘Double Down’ at midnight and I really hope you guys enjoy this one,” he said of the song. “Crank it up, enjoy it — I appreciate you, I love you, and thank you.”

Young won Season 4 of USA’s competition series “Nashville Star” in 2006 and was a contestant on the USA series “Barmageddon.”

He’s released eight studio albums and, in 2017, became a member of the vaunted Grand Ole Opry.

Young’s second album, “The Man I Want To Be,” released in 2009, spawned two No. 1 singles, “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song)” and the title track.
