Ambyr Childers in Workout Gear Plays "My First Pickleball Game"

Ambyr Childers is known for her roles in You and Ray Donovan. She also hosts her own podcast, Happily Ever Ambyr. Last month, Childers played in a charity pickleball game, and shared some highlights on Instagram. She captioned the post, “Played my first pickleball game today at the @changeyourbrainfoundation tournament, and teamed up with my dear friend, @doc_amen . A fantastic day of laughter, new friends, and supporting mental health with the Lemons Foundation @lemonsbytay. Let’s rally for resilience, lighting the way with love and support for everyone battling mental health issues.” How does she stay so fit? 

As you can see from her recent post, Childers likes to play pickleball. Renown Health states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Hitting and receiving the ball can help improve your hand-eye coordination and balance. It helps your mind stay sharp, supports cognitive function and builds footwork skills. Moving your whole body during the game allows your joints to stay flexible.”

Childers is very grateful. She talks about this on Instagram. Childers shared some things that she is grateful for in the caption of this post. “3 things to be grateful for: • the person you are becoming, • how far you have come, • what you already have.”

Childers has amazing abs. She shared some of her favorite core workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she does is planks. Allina Health states that planks have a lot of benefits. “The plank is a simple, effective bodyweight exercise that strengthens your core, as well as muscles in your upper and lower body. Core muscles, which include your back and abdomen, help you maintain posture and balance as you stand, sit and move throughout the day.”

In the previous Instagram video, Childers is seen doing shoulder presses with weights. The Mayo Clinic states that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training can reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic conditions, such as arthritis, back pain, obesity, heart disease, depression and diabetes.”


Childers shared this video on Instagram of herself golfing. She captioned the post, “Mama still has it!” Randa reports that golf has a lot of benefits. “Golf can help prevent and treat 40 major chronic diseases Golf can help strength and balance, improve quality of life and provide aerobic exercise On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories.”
