What NFL games are on Christmas Day?

The presents are unwrapped, dinner is in the oven and the family is spread out throughout the house doing their own things. It’s time for you to tune them out, get cozy in your favorite chair and turn on some pulse-pounding football; courtesy of the NFL. This Christmas there are two games on, and both are steeped in potential playoff implications.

First up you have the Cleveland Browns going up to Wisconsin to face off with the Packers of Green Bay. It’s Baker Mayfield (probably) vs. Aaron Rodgers. The Browns are 7-7 and coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Raiders on Monday evening. The Packers are a team dealing with Rodgers and bristly attitude while trying to compete for a top spot in the NFC.

Another team competing for the top spot in the NFC is the Arizona Cardinals. They’re hosting a surging Indianapolis Colts team powered by Jonathan Taylor who has an outside shot of hitting the 2,000-yard mark this season. To do so, he’s going to need his big hosses up front to open holes so he can rip the Cardinals defense to shreds. Kyler Murray is trying to help the Cardinals avoid their third-straight loss in a row and keep them alive in the hunt for the first-round bye in the playoffs.

The Packers currently hold that position and that means the Cardinals will need the Browns to get the win on Saturday if they hope to earn a first-round by.
