THE Met Gala is ready to shine, as celebrities prepare to attend fashion’s biggest night.
And the first looks at the star-studded spectacle have started trickling out – with a special reveal of the colorful carpet.
Looking like a bright scene straight out of OZ, the stairs to the Metropolitan Museum of Art were bathed in green and white lights, with green shrubbery and bushes lining the walkway.
Overhead, a giant tent tarp was bathed in purple, perfectly contrasting the lights below.
This year’s Gala theme is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, have already shared their approval.
“THIS MET GALA WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY BOOKS!” one person exclaimed in all-caps.
“Omg are we getting fairycore vibes?” another asked.
“This is beautiful!” another declared. “I love the nature feel!!”
“This is super stunning! Wow!!!” one person gushed. “One for the books!!!”
As one person declared, “It’s like an enchanted forest!!”
