Halle, 23, most recently attended the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards, one of the many events leading up to this Sunday’s Oscars.
The Color Purple star was one of the four women honored during the annual brunch, where Halle was handed the award by her older sister Chloe, 25.
Halle’s look for the event consisted of a stunning, floor-length dress that featured different shades of pink.
The top of the gown crossed over Halle’s chest, leaving a peak of her midsection exposed through a triangular-shaped cut-out.

The middle of the dress cinched at the actress’ waist before it flared out at the bottom, giving it an overall enchanted vibe.
Halle, who gave birth to her first child with boyfriend DDG just two months ago, looked toned and slim as she posed on the carpet with her award.
She shared a carousel post of her look on Instagram, where she gushed over the Essence Magazine event in her caption.
“Today I felt like a princess. It was an honor to receive the essence black woman in Hollywood award,” she wrote.
“To be lifted up by so many women who have paved the way for me to be here today is an incredibly special feeling.”
Fans raved over Halle’s look in the comments, specifically calling out her impressive figure after recently giving birth.

HALO’S BIRTH
In Halle’s speech at the event, the singer revealed why she chose to keep her pregnancy a secret.
“There was no way in hell I was gonna share the biggest joy of my world with anyone,” she said.
“Halo was my gift. He is the greatest blessing. And I had no obligation to expose him, me, or my family to that unyielding spotlight.”
The star kept her 2023 pregnancy with DDG a secret, despite fans picking up on clues leading up to the birth – specifically her choice of baggy outfits.
Since announcing Halo’s arrival in January, the actress has been sharing more glimpses of her newborn on social media.
In late February, she uploaded a black-and-white image of her posing in an elevator with her YouTuber boyfriend.
Underneath her fleece coat, her baby was wrapped up tight, swaddled in a striped blanket with a wool beanie on his head.
Halle kept things casual in black flared pants and sneakers with her hair tied in braids and no makeup.
Halle captioned her post, “We r proud of him,” with three red heart emojis.
The actress made sure to cover her little one’s face with a big red heart emoji, as the couple has still not revealed their baby’s appearance to the public.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
Halle finally announced that she’d given birth to a baby boy on January 6.
On Instagram, she shared a photo of herself holding his tiny hand, while a gold bracelet reading “Halo” wrapped around his wrist.
“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son,” she shared at the time.
“Welcome to the world, my Halo, the world is desperate to know you.”
Halle’s boyfriend re-shared the close-up shot.
“My biggest blessing by far,” he added.
“Never been so in love. The flyest kid in the universe has arrived,” the rapper mentioned.
