David recently took to Instagram to share his work schedule for the first few weeks of this month.

The TV personality, 59, posted a snap of him holding a plate with a delicious-looking omelet on it on his Instagram page on Monday.

He had an energetic facial expression, and looked to be pushing his lips together as if he was blowing something.

“Hi, Friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! I’m taking some time off after Wednesday’s ITKWD, so we have a shortened schedule this week. There will be no “Coffee Talk with David” this week but I will be back on air on Wednesday 2/14,” David captioned.

He went on to list the days that fans could catch the cookbook author on QVC.

“Check out when and where you can see me this week: 2/7: The GreenPan Kitchen, 12am-1am ET, 2/7: #ITKWD, 8-10pm ET, joined by @chelseaphillipsreidqvc, 2/11: #ITKWD, 12pm-4pm ET, hosted by @albertiqvc & joined by @rachelellisqvc,” David added.

Fans in his comment section urged the TV star to come back sooner than later.

“I don’t like it when you’re not on. It’s not the same,” one person admitted.

A second chimed in: “Enjoy your time off and hurry back!”

David was known for his show, In the Kitchen with David.

She was missing from his regularly programmed Sunday show on September 11, 2022.

In the Kitchen with David, airs on QVC twice a week, on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Sundays at noon.

This was not the first time David’s show has been moved due to special programming.

On March 6, 2022, The Sun sent a request to QVC for comment on the foodie’s disappearance from his show on Sunday afternoon and received confirmation about his whereabouts the following day.

According to a QVC spokesperson, “This past weekend was an all-fashion event on the main QVC channel, so David’s show aired on QVC2.”

Adding: “We occasionally move or change our static shows to accommodate special programming themes – as was the case last weekend.”

David was hired by QVC in 1993 and at first, promoted the company’s gourmet food products.

He gradually earned the right to host his own show on the channel after a few years.

David is not married, nor does he have any reported children.

He was born on November 12, 1964, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is a proud alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied journalism.
