The influencer, who signs off his YouTube updates with the name Paul, shared a picture of himself lying in a hospital bed on X, formerly known as Twitter, in November 2022.

He said: “Nothing better than spending Thanksgiving at the hospital after being forced into arm/leg restraints and put into a f**king diaper against your will.”

Trying to reassure fans, he said: “I’m okay all things considered though.”

Paul, who documents his battle with alcoholism, said that the doctors told him that there wasn’t an “insignificant risk” that he would go into a coma.

He also shared a health update on his YouTube page three weeks ago.

He said: “It’s Thanksgiving today and I’m not dead, despite some rumors that I am.”

But, he warned fans that they might not see a video until 2024.

He said: “I will upload again, eventually. Just not until I feel like I can maintain some sort of a schedule, even if it’s only 1 video per month.”

Paul vowed that his YouTube channel wasn’t dead and that it would return.

It came just months after the influencer revealed he was battling pancreatitis, per an X post.

In May, he wrote: “The frequent vomiting sucks but the pain is indescribable and nothing seems to make it stop.”

Paul first sparked concern when he announced in 2021 that he was taking an “indefinite hiatus” from YouTube.

He revealed that he was “far more concerned” with regaining control of his health than hits on YouTube.

At the time, the influencer wasn’t sure how long his break would last.

He said: “I might upload again next week, I might not upload again for 3 months.”

Paul’s channel predominately features Fallout-related content and has over 1.4 million subscribers.

He last uploaded a clip to the channel last year and it has racked up more than 1.3 million views.

The gamer has also shared challenges from Skyrim, Call of Duty: WWII, and Grand Theft Auto V.

The U.S. Sun has approached Mitten Squad for comment.
