The GMA presenter announced a huge career move and did not appear in his usual morning position on daytime television.

George‘s wife Ali Wentworth posted an Instagram photo to update fans on their whereabouts.
The couple took a walk in a warm location surrounded by palm trees.
George walked next to his wife and pulled a happy face to the camera.
He wore a navy top with a black baseball cap to protect his face from the sun.
Ali was next to him and extended her arm to hold the camera and take the photo.
She was also dressed for sunshine and gave a huge smile.
Ali wore a simple black t-shirt paired with a light brown straw hat.
Her hair was left up to keep her neck cool.
“Birthday walk!,” she captioned the photo.
Fans left Happy Birthday wishes in the comments.
WHERE’S GEORGE?
This Instagram post came after George was absent from Friday’s GMA show without an explanation.
The star was in attendance for the whole week, but replaced by Whit Johnson on Friday.
George’s absence came one day after he showed support to Michael, 52, and his daughter, Isabella, who is battling brain cancer.
The week before this, George and his wife, Ali Wentworth announced a continuation of a former project.
Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields, which was produced by George and Ali, 58, through their production company, was released in January 2023.
The documentary originally premiered on Hulu, but can now be seen by a wider audience.
