Carla Kent said life's too short not to wear short shorts

The makeup artist, from Glasgow, loves to help other shoppers find outfits that flatter their figures.

She previously reminded her fellow voluptuous fashionistas that “curvy girls can wear hotpants too”.

She proved her point yet again after being hailed a “treasure” in an £18 leopard print pair from ASOS.

And now she’s made a fresh plea to curvy fashion fans to give them a try this summer.

She said: “Life is SHORT so just wear the short shorts.

“If I’ve got my tree trunk legs in hot pants then you can.

“This year we just wear what we want.”

Alongside her post, which has gone viral with more than 57,000 views, Carla modelled two pairs of booty shorts from fashion brand Ego.

A £21 pair boasted an all over frill detail in a cream textured material, while her green stripe knit pair cost £17.

The brunette beauty’s post quickly racked up compliments on social media, with fashion fans loving her look.

I’ve found the perfect hot pants for all my thick leg gals – being curvy won’t stop me from wearing them

“You make me want to buy everything”, one gushed.

A second wrote: “Ok I’m obsessed.”

A third added: “Such a gorgeous girly and thee perfect figure.”

While a fourth echoed: “Figure of dreams.”

Influencer Carla was back on our TV screens this year as reality show The Agency: Unfiltered returned for a second season on BBC Scotland.

The new series once again followed Aquarius Creative, Scotland’s largest influencer agency, its founders Kirsten Cameron and Amy Moore, and their clients.

In just one year, series one and two of the show have now reached a combined total of over 1 million streams.

Kirsten said: “We’re very humbled by the reaction to the series. I think its success lies in its ability to share the authentic side of the influencing world. It reveals the reality behind the posts.”

Amy added: “We are so delighted that the second series has received such an incredible response so far – it means so much to us that audiences are coming to it in such high numbers and resonating so much with them.

“We never anticipated the series to achieve such success, so to see both series achieve over 1 million streams is genuinely amazing.”

The Agency: Unfiltered’s first and second season are available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
