Boris have announced a Fall 2024 US tour that will see the Japanese trio performing their 1998 album, Amplifier Worship, in its entirety.
The trek kicks off in San Diego on September 25th and runs through November 3rd in Tempe, Arizona. Starcrawler will provide support on the outing, which will hit major cities such as Denver, Chicago, New York City, and Dallas, among others.
Tickets go on sale starting Friday (April 26th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
Billed as the “Amplifier Worship Service Tour,” the outing will see Boris celebrating their 1998 album Amplifier Worship, which received a long-overdue reissue via Third Man Records in 2020. The band will perform every song on the album in a double-drum “drone set” format on the upcoming jaunt.
The band’s tour announcement reads: “Amplified oscillations and volume, going from anguish to pleasure and back, being in fear as well as in awe at what can be called heavy — we venture into this palace of worship together.”
