On Thursday, the Hollywood actor shared a video on his and the official Jonas Brothers Instagram account giving a major update on their shows in Mexico.

“I have some not-so-fun news to share,” he began, “A couple days ago I started feeling kinda rough, lost my voice when I woken up and I grinded that night out to play the show in Cancun.

“Over the last two days, it’s gotten progressively worse.

“I was basically in bed all day yesterday with a fever, body aches, sore throat, a really bad cough, and I saw a doctor.

“I’m not gonna be able to get on stage tonight and play these shows. I just need to recover and beat this thing. I’m so sorry. I hate disappointing you guys, you do so much to support us.

“A lot of you have traveled and I’m just heartbroken about this.”

Nick then revealed that he was working with his brothers and their team to reschedule the shows in Mexico City and Monterrey – which were pushed until late August.

The famous band was originally supposed to play in Mexico on May 3 and 4, while Monterrey shows were on May 6 and 7.

In the caption, he revealed he was sick with “a nasty strain of influenza-A” and would give it his all when the band returns later in the summer.

‘I WANT MY MONEY BACK’

While many fans wished Nick a speedy recovery, others weren’t thrilled with the news.

One fan wrote, “Get better soon, the flu is rough!!!”

“We love you so much. Take care,” another commented.

“Cant believe this is happening, my heart is broken,” stated a third JB fan.

A fifth said, “You should’ve postponed them 2 days ago, fans from all over the country are already in Mexico City.”

POSTPONING MORE SHOWS

On April 10, the brothers sent out a video explaining that they are postponing their entire Europe tour until later in 2024 due to “exciting projects.”

“European fans, we love you and we can’t wait to see you, been long overdue and we are so excited to play these shows later this year in the Fall,” Nick said.

In their caption, they said, “We know this is a bit inconvenient but we can’t wait to share more about what’s coming.”

However, fans were “disappointed” by the announcement.

One upset follower wrote, “I’m from Turkey and my family booked a trip to Amsterdam just for your concert as a birthday gift . I am a big fan but I’m really disappointed.

” I dreamed about that day . Now you unfortunately ruined it.”

“I check in every day to see if there’s any form of apology or explanation from you after almost a week but there’s just nothing. You dropped this video and thought it would be fine. Embarrassing,” commented another.

A third exclaimed, “Shifting dates to work on new projects it’s shameful and extremely disrespectful to the fans who already bought tickets to the show, plane tickets and made reservations on hotels. You guys can do better.”

“You should be ashamed,” someone else said.
