The UEFA Champions League has called in one more striker for their star-studded kick-off show this weekend.
Earlier in the year, the prestigious soccer organization announced that the international superstars Burna Boy and Anitta would be headlining the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show before Manchester City takes on Inter in Istanbul. Now they’re getting electronic dance music in the mix with the surprise addition of another headliner, Alesso, who famously collaborated with Anitta for 2017’s “Is That For Me.”
The performance is sponsored by Pepsi, who hosted a social media contest before this weekend’s event on their TikTok page. Fans were encouraged to get involved in the campaign for a chance to receive a shout-out from one of the performers and to win a trip to be on the field for the high-profile game.
Alesso, Burna Boy and Anitta will take the stage at the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show on Saturday, June 10th at Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium. You can learn more about the show here.
