Coachella's YouTube Livestream Will Have Multiview Feature

When scheduling conflicts arise at a festival, it can be hard to pick and choose which artists to see. Luckily, for those watching the Coachella 2024 livestream, they’ll be able to watch multiple sets simultaneously for the first time ever.

In a major expansion, YouTube will offer a multiview feature for its Coachella 2024 livestream. Viewers will be able to stream up to four performances all on one screen, fashioned as a 4×4 grid. As with last year’s livestream, there will be six feeds of Coachella performances to choose from. Via the YouTube app, viewers will be able to stream two different performances from two different stages throughout the whole festival.

YouTube has done this kind of multiview platform before, notably as part of its NFL Sunday Ticket livestreams for YouTube TV. Now, the streamer is incorporating the same technology for Coachella’s livestream.

The livestream officially kicks off on YouTube on Friday, April 12th at 4:00pm PT — the first day of Coachella Weekend One. Watch YouTube’s teaser for the Coachella livestream below, and stay tuned for the livestream schedule (which should be released closer to the festival). Also, read our breakdown of this year’s Coachella lineup, which features artists like Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, No Doubt, Blur, and Justice.

And if watching multiple livestreams of Coachella is already giving you FOMO, tickets are still available for both weekends.
