Sofia revealed she had knee surgery, sharing a pic of her recovery process at home.
The 51-year-old posted a snap to her Instagram stories while laying in her bed.
Her right leg was elevated, resting on a pillow, as her knee was wrapped tightly in gauze, with a monitoring device placed on top.
And there, lovingly looking over her, was her new doctor boyfriend, Justin Saliman.
The orthopedic surgeon smiled, as he tenderly held her leg. He was still dressed in his work scrubs.
“If u ever get a major knee surgery make sure u get a handsome doctor who will sleep with u that night!!!!” Sofia joked while captioning the photo, before declaring, “Luv U Dr. (Justin Saliman).
LOVE DOCTOR
Sofia – who divorced her husband of seven years Joe Manganiello last year – recently began dating Justin.
The 49-year-old is a successful orthopedic surgeon, who has offices in both Beverly Hills and Los Angeles.
In December, the two went Instagram official, after Sofia shared a photo of the couple at a holiday party.
An insider claimed: “Sofia has moved on from Joe and would be happy to never see him again. Her relationship with Justin has made her never look back,” according to the Daily Mail.
The source added: “Justin is absolutely charming, and handsome, and has an incredible job. He isn’t an actor and is very confident and she is eating it all up.”
They have been spotted together on a different occasions as the new happy couple have flaunted their new love on the streets of Los Angeles.
Sofia was caught on a date with Justin on October 20 in Los Angeles after her split from Joe Manganiello in July.
The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that Justin, too, has been through divorce, as his ex-wife Bree Turner filed to end their union on March 2, 2018, after nearly 10 years of marriage.

Meanwhile, it is not yet clear if Sofia’s recent surgery will affect her judging duties on the just-underway new season of America’s Got Talent.
Sofia recently shared a new photo from the set, showing off one of her looks from the auditions.
In the post, Sofia posed in one of her super glam outfits from the upcoming 19th season of the show.
The film star snapped a selfie for the first pic, following that up with one of herself holding her dog on her shoulder, revealing a skintight metallic yellow dress with a daring halter neck and cutouts on the torso.
“Almost done with AGT auditions! It’s going to be another crazy season!” she teased in her caption.
Just two days prior to her new photos, Sofia shared a snap and video of herself wearing the same dress with only three days of auditions left.
The upcoming season of AGT will feature the same judging panel, with Sofia being joined by Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and as always, Simon Cowell.
