GWEN Stefani has admitted she reminisced about her ex-boyfriend Tony Kanal with her son Apollo.
Gwen, 54, and her No Doubt bandmate Tony, 53, dated from 1987 to 1994 and remained close after their split.

The friends are reuniting along with guitarist Tom Dumont, and drummer Adrian Young for No Doubt’s performance at Coachella this year.
In the wake of the reunion news, Gwen revealed she had to explain her romance with Tony to her youngest son Apollo, 9.
“I had to literally lay in bed with Apollo and he’s like, ‘But mom, what is Coachella? Everyone’s saying it. What is this? It sounds like it’s a big deal,'” she told People.
“So we had to watch the Don’t Speak video, and he’s like, ‘But wait, which one was your boyfriend?’
“It was so weird and so funny. I literally had to tell him each band member.”
“That’s how much time’s gone by because he’s going to be 10! It’s just another miracle and a blessing. And it was surreal for me,” she added.
“I feel like we’re in the future and lightning just struck and [No Doubt] is like, ‘Here we are!'”
Last week, Gwen shared her private texts with Tony while announcing their reunion news.
The Voice star posted a video which showed a screenshot of her messaging Tony: “Hi, what are you doing?”
“Whoa,” a seemingly shocked Tony sent back, before asking, “What’s up!?”
Gwen responded by confessing she was “thinking about u guys,” referring to Tony and the other members.
The video then jumped to a group video chat of everyone from the band, including Tony, Adrian Young, and Tom Dumont.
‘MARRIAGE TROUBLES’
Gwen has been focusing on promoting her career amid reports that she’s having relationship trouble with husband Blake Shelton.
The duo married at their Oklahoma ranch in 2021 after meeting on The Voice in 2015.
Sources claimed their marriage was on the rocks after they spent New Year’s Eve apart.
Blake performed at New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, while Gwen put on her own show in Las Vegas.
An insider told Life & Style that Blake was upset he couldn’t spend the night with his partner.
“Gwen and Blake’s marriage is definitely in trouble,” they added.
“Lately, they’ve been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time.”
“The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result,” they concluded.
DELETING POSTS?
Last month, fans feared that Gwen had been deleting posts of Blake from her Instagram.
The Hollaback Girl singer shared a video of herself getting ready in her dressing room.
Fans asked about the absence of Blake from her grid in the comments section.
“What happened to all the videos of you and Blake?” one asked at the time.
“I haven’t seen them either!” a second added.
