The 2024 Met Gala, which takes place on May 6, would be Taylor and Travis‘ first red carpet appearance as a couple.
However, the pair reportedly declined their invitations to the yearly fashion event, according to TMZ.
A source told the outlet that Taylor and Travis had RSVP’d “no” to the event without further explanation.
Taylor’s reasoning could be assumed to be that the Met Gala coincides with the same time the Eras Tour resumes.

A source exclusively told The U.S. Sun they will be resting in getting ready for Taylor’s tour.
“They are loving to just relax, spend time together, and stay at Taylor’s residencies to just enjoy being together and get a well-deserved rest,” the insider said.
“It’s that time of year where both are off and they like not to attract any attention, to not be going to many public events, and just stay in their ‘bubble.'”
