In a new social media post the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star shows off her amazing body in a catsuit while getting down to her favorite tunes prior to an exercise session. “Hype song always on repeat 🎧 Let me know what you’ve been streaming!” she captioned the post. How does the athlete approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

To get ready for AEW, Mercedes trained hard. “I went to all different wrestling schools to learn from trainers that I had grown up watching; from Skayde to Ricky Marvin to Bandido, there are so many legends there to learn from. To train at that altitude as well, it gets you ready from a conditioning perspective so much faster as well. But yeah, I was ready in October, and I knew coming to Japan was exactly what I wanted. I was shooting a movie in between training in Mexico then, but I knew I was going to Japan to train in December whether it was doing something with New Japan or not. When it all came together with NJPW though for Wrestle Kingdom it was ‘wow, OK, this is really happening’. This has been a dream literally since I was a teenager,” she told NJPW

Mercedes meal preps weekly and even brings meals with her to hotels. “When I first started (wrestling) I would try and find healthy restaurants which is really hard,” she told Fox News Australia. “A lot of tons only have fast food. Recently a lot of the boys started bringing their own food on the road and I decided to do the same thing,” she added. “It’s probably saving me like $200 a week by making my own food.” She only uses wholesome ingredients. “I make ground turkey, ground buffalo, chicken and vegetables. I feel like my body has changed completely knowing what ingredients you’re putting in your body,” she told Fox News.

Mercedes works out five days a week. Her exercise sessions are a blend of cardio, strength training, and fighting. Kettlebell swings and lifts, rope work, and compound barbell movements such as power cleans are part of her routine. “Me, Bayley, Seth Rollins and Cesaro try to find a CrossFit gym any town were in,” she explained. “We probably spend two hours in the gym. If you want to look like me, that’s the way it goes. When I first started I didn’t know how to lift a dumbbell and now my max deadlift is 215.”

Mercedes relies on meditation to relax. “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new. @kanndelabs #kanndela #sgnp #ready #focus #clean #elevated,” she captioned a post of herself meditating. “When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic.

Mercedes detailed her diet to Muscle and Fitness. She starts with an egg-white omelet with feta, onion, and turkey. For lunch she has a salad with chicken. A snack might be a protein smoothie. For dinner she has salmon and asparagus. Other snacks include beef jerky, tuna packets, and fruit. Her cheat foods? Ramen noodles, pizza, and burgers. “Sometimes all in one day.”
