TO celebrate his birthday, YouTube juggernaut MrBeast has announced a massive giveaway on social media.
MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, is known for giving away money in the form of challenges, giveaways, and donations.
Because of this, his videos gain a staggering number of views, resulting in more than 256 million subscribers.
For his 26th birthday, MrBeast decided to celebrate the only way he knows how – by giving away Teslas.
“It’s my 26th birthday, so I am giving away 26 Teslas to my followers!” he shared on Instagram.
“Like and Comment on this post tagging 2 friends to enter!”
Those entering the giveaway have to follow MrBeast’s account so they can receive a private message if they win.
“Winners will be announced in 7 days, share this to your story and help your friends win a Tesla lol,” the caption continued.
He also shared a link with the official rules.
The Sweepstakes is only open to legal US – including DC but excluding New York and Florida residents – Australia, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and UK residents that are at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in their country, according to the rules.
Entry starts on May 7 and ends on May 10 at 11:59 pm ET.
Of the 26 cars, 25 are Tesla Model 3s, worth an estimated $39,000.
One vehicle is a 2024 Tesla Cybertruck, worth an estimated $120,000, according to the rules.
GET MUSKED
MrBeast has had a back-and-forth relationship with Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and X, formerly known as Twitter.
Late last year, the influencer rejected Musk’s request to upload his videos on X, saying the platform wouldn’t pay as much as YouTube.
“My videos cost millions to make and even if they got a billion views on X, it wouldn’t fund a fraction of it :/,” MrBeast wrote.
“I’m down though to test stuff once monetization is really cranking!”
However, MrBeast soon began uploading videos to X earlier this year with Musk quickly consigning the post.
“First MrBeast video posted directly on X!” he wrote.
A week later, MrBeast revealed that he made more than $250,000 in revenue from uploading the clip on X.
But he added that these numbers didn’t reflect how much other creators would make from posting videos on the platform.
“It’s a bit of a facade. Advertisers saw the attention it was getting and bought ads on my video (I think) and thus my revenue per view is prob higher than what you’d experience,” he wrote.
He has since continued to upload videos on X as he tests how monetization works on the platform.
