What did Lizwani do at the BAFTA Film Awards?
On February 18, 2024, the British film industry celebrated their 77th BAFTA Film Awards.
When the cast of Oppenheimer accepted the award for Best Film, the YouTuber snuck onto the stage and went unnoticed.
Throughout the “prank,” Lizwani simply stood behind the cast as they accepted their awards wearing a suit and hat.
He was seen standing next to Cillian Murphy. Following Oppenheimer producer Emma Thomas’ speech, Lizwani was seen tucking something under his arm before joining the crowd in applause.
It wasn’t until the cast got off the stage, to which Lizwani calmly joined them when walking off, that security seized the intruder.
While Lizwani didn’t harm anyone, the circumstances sparked concern about the safety issues around exclusive events such as the BAFTAs.
