On June 10, 2024, Ben Potter’s wife Nathalie Potter took to X, formerly Twitter, to reveal that her husband had passed away.
She said he “passed away in an unfortunate accident.”
The tweet reads, “To many of you, he was Comicstorian, voicing stories from across multiple different mediums.
“To his loved ones, he was one of the best and most supportive individuals anyone could ask for.

“As a husband, a son, a brother, a friend, or even just a stranger, Ben was loving and genuine.
Nathalie also asks for privacy during this time and expressed a desire to “honor him by continuing to tell great stories by great people, as well as to keep the memory of our very own superhero alive.”
She did not specify what kind of accident Ben suffered.

He tweeted, “I met Ben at Pax South almost 10 years ago and I remember being so nervous to be a part of the Polaris content they were doing that weekend.
“He led with such professionalism and always made me feel comfortable whenever we worked together. This is so heartbreaking. My condolences.”
Another X user tweeted, “This one hurts. I was a huge fan of Comicstorian. Being as busy as I am, it’s become more and more difficult to sit down and read comics.
