Watch Alexisonfire’s Beautiful Video For ‘Mistaken Information’ - News

One of the many highlights on Alexisonfire’s new album now has a beautiful video accompaniment.

Alexisonfire’s new album ‘Otherness’ is out now, and if you haven’t fallen head over heels in love with it you need to change that very soon.

A beautiful culmination of not just the band’s journey but also of the talents and passions of each of the band’s members, it’s a kaleidoscope of musical innovation and electricity.

And along the tracks, the band have been producing some stunning visuals, the latest being for ‘Mistaken Information’.

Following the path of discovery of a man waking up in a room and a girl trying to find her footing, before the two finally meet in the middle, it’s a beautiful, touching and stunning accompaniment to the track.

The clip actually charts the different pieces of the album’s artwork, and all of the people featured in the video feature in the artwork as well.

Muted Windows, who created the video and shot the artwork, had this to say:

“It was a wonderful experience to create the video for ‘Mistaken Information’ for the incredible Alexisonfire. We appreciate how receptive they were to the concept after listening to the song – immediately feeling a sort of hypnotic tone. The video is abstract in nature and much more about feeling.”

And director Nedda Afsari added:

“I love working on all-encompassing projects, making videos that tie into photos for album art. Michael E. Linn shot tons of footage for the album photo shoot and knew we wanted to incorporate that into ‘Mistaken Information.’ We created a deja vu world where dreams blend with reality, and nothing is certain.”
