REPUBLICAN presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy has been caught with his pants down, literally, after forgetting to mute his microphone on a live call.

Vivek was part of a 12-person live stream on X, formerly Twitter, when the sound of someone peeing began to come from his icon.

Other notable people like Elon Musk, Alex Jones, and Andrew Tate were on the call at the time discussing their personal beliefs and politics.

“Elon Musk is promoting an optimistic, pro-human future that science and evidence shows is real and we need,” one participant was saying as sounds of pee hitting toilet water could be heard in the background.

Musk and Matt Gaetz, a US representative for Florida’s 1st congressional district, then began talking but were also interrupted by the sound of peeing.

“Somebody’s got their thing [microphone] open, peeing. Somebody left their phone open in the bathroom,” another participant called out.

“Vivek, Vivek, that’s your phone Vivek and I’m not able to mute you,” Gaetz said in response.

Ramaswamy’s microphone immediately cut off as the other men on the call laughed over the snafu.

A moment later, he addressed the incident simply saying: “Sorry about that.”

“Well I hope you feel better,” laughed Musk.

“I feel great. Sorry about that guys,” responded Ramaswamy.

Listeners and call participants alike are still reeling after the incident.

“I’m literally rofl rn,” Musk wrote on an X post replying to audio from the call.

“To hear this happening LIVE was unbelievably cringe & hilarious!” shared someone who heard it occur in real-time.

Some listeners have taken to analyzing the moment.

“Standing or sitting? Voters need to know,” one commenter asked.

“I originally thought he was peeing standing up but I’m wrong. Sounds like he pees sitting down. We need a leader who is strong and ‘stands up’ to fight when he needs to,” shared one another.

Some pointed out potential historical significance.

“Is he the first candidate we’ve heard pee?” asked a listener.

“It’s a moment for the history books,” pointed out another.

Ramaswamy has yet to respond to a request for comment.

Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur and author, launched his campaign for the Republican Party nomination in the 2024 United States presidential election in February.

He’s made headlines for his fiery exchanges with other candidates, most commonly former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, on the debate stage.

He held up a sign saying “Nikki = Corrupt” during last week’s debate in Alabama.

And in November, Haley branded him “scum” after he brought up her daughter at NBC News’ debate.

Haley and others, like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, called for a nationwide ban of China-owned TikTok, and Haley slammed Ramaswamy for taking his campaign to the social media platform.

In response, Ramaswamy warned her to “take care of your family first” while pointing out that her daughter was a user of TikTok.

It came after he slammed Haley for being “Dick Cheney in three-inch heels” with her foreign policy on war in the Middle East.

Haley immediately hit back, saying: “Leave my daughter out of your voice” before adding “you’re just scum.”
