Travis Kelce is, understandably, head over heels for his girlfriend and international pop star Taylor Swift.

On a recent episode of the New Heights podcast that he co-hosts with his brother — newly retired and future Hall of Fame center Jason Kelce — the 3x Super Bowl-winning tight end detailed his trip to Australia with Swift, leading him to describe her as the “best thing possible.”

“It was amazing over there,” Kelce said of visiting Australia with Swift following the Super Bowl on the March 6 episode of his New Heights podcast. “I only went to Sydney — got a lot of friends that I’ve met over the years in Melbourne, definitely want to get out there and see what Melbourne has to offer.”

“It was cool to see all the exotic animals. It was fun, man. There were full-on helicopters just just flying around. This is all because Taylor is the biggest and the best thing possible.”

Joining Swift down under was the least that Kelce could do considering that Swift was in attendance for tons of Chiefs games last season, including the entirety of their postseason run to the Super Bowl LVIII title.

Kelce’s comments about Swift came during an emotional week for the family, as Jason Kelce officially announced his retirement earlier this week and gave a speech that had both he and Travis in tears.

The speech was so good, in fact, that Jason is being hailed as an all-time great Philadelphian considering that he has given what’s perceived as being two of the greatest speeches in the city’s history.

Now 34 years old, Travis will likely be retiring in the coming years, as well. While former NBC Sports reporter Michelle Tafoya said in January she believes that Travis will also be retiring this offseason, the nine-time Pro Bowler has yet to indicate that’s the case.

If Travis does join his brother Jason in retirement, the pair will certainly have their plates full as there is some speculation that the pair and their podcast could be in line for a $100M deal.
