Huntley wowed judges John Legend, Niall, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani.

In the end, his performance last night did more than just impress – it won him the whole competition.

The result was announced at the end of the show, with Huntley beating out Lila Forde, Ruby Leigh, Mara Justine, and
Jacquie Roar.

Immediately after the result was announced, The Voice viewers took to X – formerly Twitter – to share their reactions.

While their supporters were thrilled, critics on the social media platform claimed the show was rigged and Ruby deserved the victory more.

One said: “Huntley was great but Ruby Leigh absolutely deserved that win!”

“The voters certainly got this final wrong,” said another.

A third added: “I loved Ruby more honestly but this is Niall’s second win” with a twinkling star emoji.

A fan wrote: “I can appreciate Huntley but Ruby or Mara deserved #1 to me.”

Others didn’t want Ruby or Huntely to win the competition.

One wrote: “Mara Justine was ROBBED. The country curse strikes again. Huntley better be winning this s**t.”

Someone else said: “Y’all for real? Huntley and Ruby are the top 2? This d**n season was a whole mess.”

A third said: “oh, this is some straight f**king riggory???? MARA 3rd?????”

BYE GWEN

One team was not able to participate in the finale, however.

Team Gwen was eliminated from the competition during the December 12 episode of the show.

During the episode, the nine remaining singers were cut down to just five before The Voice finale.

Lila from Team Legend, Huntley from Team Niall, Rube from Team Reba, Mara from Team Niall, and fan instant-save winner Jacquie from Team Reba were selected to move on to the finale.

Gwen’s last singer standing, Bias, was eliminated from the competition.

Following the decision, many fans took to X to share their thoughts.

“Mac & Nini have to fight for a spot while RUBY made it?? I’m convinced this is rigged once again,” one fan tweeted.

A second argued: “[At this point] Gwen should quit The Voice already.”

Another harsh critic said: “Gwen doesn’t know talent.”

“No way Mac went home. The voice is rigged,” a fourth wrote.

Throughout the season, Gwen built an impressive team that included Bias, Kara Tenae, Tanner Masset, Juliette Ojeda, Calla Prejean, Josleynn Rose, Claire Heilig, Eli Ward, Chechi Sarai, Jenna Marquis, Jason Arcilla, CORii, Rudi, Stee, and Lennon VanderDoes.

NOT POPULAR

Throughout the season, fans have voiced their honest opinions about Gwen’s coaching abilities.

Many claim she’s not a good fit for the role, suggesting someone else should take over.

During Monday’s episode, fans ripped the former No Doubt frontwoman over her “poor coaching” after watching Bias perform God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts.

While the judges, including Gwen, appeared impressed, viewers at home were far from it.

Several critics were not impressed by the way he sang.

One posted on X: “So how many more country classic songs is he going to destroy with her coaching before he is voted off? Another POP star in country in the making.”

“Bias was off-pitch quite often in that performance of Bless the Broken Road. Oddly pitch problems are almost the norm with Gwen’s contestants,” a second person commented.

A third hater commented: “Bias is dive bar level. I’m honestly mad about the talent that’s gone home before him.”

“If I’m being so serious…if Bias and Jordan don’t both go home tomorrow ONE of them better go home. It’s easy to butcher a Rascal Flatts song but it’s VERY hard to f**k up a Blake Shelton song…but ofc she made it her mission to do so,” someone else reacted with.

A fifth person critiqued: “Can someone tell me why Bias is still here?”
