The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show’s closing credits brought an intriguing change at the end of the April 25 episode. Romy Park was previously a recurring player, but she’s now on contract as Poppy Nozawa.
Of course, this seems like good news for Poppy’s future on B&B and could open the door to some new storylines.
Poppy has mostly been around to support Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamara) and apologize for the special mint fiasco lately, but that could change soon enough.
With that in mind, we should start thinking about what might be coming up for Poppy.
One path to drama could certainly involve a feud between Poppy and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Brooke was appalled when she got updates on Poppy letting her special mint tin fall into Luna’s hands, so she definitely holds Poppy responsible for Luna’s night with Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz).
That means Brooke blames Poppy for RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) pain too, so there’s the potential for Brooke and Poppy to become major rivals – especially now that Brooke doesn’t have Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) around to clash with.
However, we can’t forget that Poppy is romantically involved with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), so we could certainly see their love story develop.
It’s also possible B&B could do what they do best and turn Poppy’s storyline with Bill into a love triangle by adding a third party.
There might even be the potential for a love quad if Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) get plopped into Bill and Poppy’s orbit.
Naturally, we need to address a mystery that the show’s left dangling as well.
Poppy still hasn’t revealed who Luna’s biological father is, so Romy Park’s contract status could be a sign that the show’s going to dive deeper into that issue.
There have been some hints that maybe Jack Finnegan (Ted King) is Luna’s bio dad, so the revelation of that shocker could set the stage for some major fallout.
Whatever the case, B&B clearly has more plans for Poppy Nozawa now that Romy Park is on contract, so our predictions point to them finding new ways to use her.
