Sugarland joined up with Big Little Town for the second time in their career.

The first took place in 2008 at the CMT Awards where they performed Life in a Northern Town with Jake Owen.

Sugarland again hit the stage, but this time to cover a 1985 hit with Big Little Town.

The group performed Take Me Home by Phil Collins.

Big Little Town’s Jimi Westbrook and Karen Fairchild started the performance.

Jennifer Nettles’ belted out her line to announce the presence of Sugarland.

After this, Kristian Bush took over.

BAND HISTORY

Sugarland originally had three members when they broke out onto the country music scene.

Kristen Hall departed the band just one year later to spend time writing at home, according to the band.

Kristen then filed a $1.5 million lawsuit against her bandmates in 2008.

She claimed she had been deprived of money by her fellow band members.

Rumors also swirled that she underwent immense stress from their touring schedule.

SPLIT UP?

The lawsuit was eventually settled, but Kristen left the band for good.

Jennifer and Kristian Bush carried on with the band despite an “amicable” hiatus in 2012 to 2017.

The duo recently announced a national tour along with Big Little Town, called the Take Me Home Tour, after the Phil Collins song they performed at the CMT Awards.

The group announced the tour before their performance.

It will kick off in October in Greenville, South Carolina, and will conclude in mid-December in Nashville.

The group previously toured in 2008 after their first joint performance.
