The page claimed it would temporarily halt posting to mourn Keemstar, real name Daniel Keem’s death.

However, hours later, Keem uploaded a post on X saying it was all an April Fools’ joke.

“Hope everyone had a fun April Fools. I’ve rejoined team alive,” Keem posted, sharing a selfie with a thumbs up.

Now, several of Keem’s followers are calling the YouTuber insensitive for his cruel joke.

“I remember when pranks used to be funny,” one fan posted.

Another said, “It wasn’t funny the first time, why keep it going.”

“Wasn’t even remotely funny,” a third follower commented.

“No one believed you and you’re 42 years old, act your age,” seethed another.

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Keem for comment.

YOUTUBER ROWS

Keem has had his fair share of issues with several fellow social media personalities, including Twitch streamer Fousey.

YouTuber Keemstar reveals Tommy Fury has pulled OUT of Jake Paul fight just days before showdown

Fousey, real name Yousef Saleh Erakat, and Keem’s feud began after the Twitch streamer appeared on Bradley Martin’s podcast Raw Talk.

He commented on Keem and spoke about why he left Happy Punch Promotions, the streamer’s boxing promotional company he co-founded with Keem.

Fousey claimed that Keem was upset over a livestream he conducted at an airport with a woman and texted him privately about it.

He said Keem was also bothered because he claimed Fousey left out important details on why he left Happy Punch when he discussed it on Martin’s podcast.

Keem was also criticized on social media for chiming in on streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa’s live stream, where she claimed she was trapped in an abusive relationship.

Amouranth accused her husband of abusing her by forcing her to stream and parent that she was single.

Keem responded to her video, saying he believed Amouranth was being abused before calling her a scammer.

“Amouranth herself has scammed so many guys online claiming she was single for years,” Keem said in 2022 in a since-deleted X post.

“These twitch streamers don’t care about their viewers. They all just use you & your low IQs to fill their pockets.”

After receiving backlash, Keem deleted his thread and defended his actions by posting, “just making the point that content creators shouldn’t lie to their fanbase for money.”
