Olivia Wilde Gets New Criticism From ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Actress

"Don't Worry Darling" Red Carpet - 79th Venice International Film

Olivia Wilde’s latest film, “Don’t Worry Darling,” can’t seem to escape drama and negativity.

Shia LaBeouf publicly called out Wilde for telling a white lie regarding his departure from the film.

There have been several stories published surrounding Florence Pugh and Wilde’s strained relationship.

Now, another actor from the film is shading Wilde and the film.

Kiki Layne, who plays Margaret, shared a video with her co-star and on-screen husband, Ari’el Stachel.

Both actors had relatively small roles in the final production; however, Kiki made it very clear that she and Stachel played larger roles than what was shown.

Kiki Layne & Ari’el Stachel Got Cut From Most Of The Film

Kiki made it very clear that she and Stachel got cut “from most of the movie.”

“The best thing about #DontWorryDarling is that I was lucky enough to meet @arielstachel. They cut us from most of the movie, but we thriving in real life. 🙂🙂 Love you Ari ❤️❤️❤️❤️ #GotMyCheck #GotMyMan #EverythingHappensforaReason,” she captioned her social media post.

Ari commented on the post, “My love. You are a queen and your talent shines so bright. I was thirsty then and I’m thirsty now ❤️❤️❤️.”

Another person commented, “The hashtags😂😩.”

“I wondered why I had not seen you in Venice, BOO!!!” someone else added.

One fan really stuck it to Wilde with this comment, “I’ll add this to the long list of reasons why the film seemed so incomplete.”

Stachel also shared BTS photos with Kiki.

“My favorite part of my experience in Don’t Worry Darling. This woman did phenomenal work and I was thirsty the second I met her. @dontworrydarling #dontworrydarling,” he captioned the carousel of photos.

The jabs toward the production didn’t stop there.

Another actor from the film commented on Satchel’s post writing, “THE TENSION WAS THICC lol so great working with both of you!”

Olivia Wilde Gets Called Out Again!

Stachel also posted a TikTok video of himself dancing to Snoop Dogg’s “Sensual Seduction” in front of tweets about his reduced role in the film.

“I can overlook a movie being bad, but I cannot overlook a movie being bad and making Ari’el Stachel a glorified extra. The man has a Tony!!!!give him more than two lines Olivia Wilde!!!!” the tweet read.

Stachel agreed with the sentiment and captioned the video, “When you end up on the cutting room floor, Go see ‘Don’t Worry Darling.’”

“The film that keeps on giving (tea),” one person commented.

“OH MY GOD THE SHADE,” another wrote.

Someone else replied, “Your (and Kiki’s) lack of screentime was one of several disappointments. Looking forward to a time when I get to see you THRIVE on the big screen ❤️.”

Despite Wilde’s best attempts to squash feud rumors, it’s clear things were not the most hunky dory on set.

During a recent promotional spot on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” she spoke about “Spitgate 2022” and Pugh.

At the beginning of the month, ‘Spitgate’ was all the internet could talk about. It came from a viral clip that seemingly showed Styles spitting on Pine while taking his seat at the Venice Film Festival.

However, a representative for Pine cleared the air and said the rumors were all smoke and mirrors.

A rep for Pine told People, the video is creating unnecessary drama.

“This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation,” the statement read. “Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist.”

Styles even joked about it during one of his final shows at Madison Square Garden.

“This is our 10th show at Madison Square Garden, it is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful to be back here,” the British singer told his fans while opening the show. “I just popped over to Venice to spit on Chris Pine but fear not, we’re back!”

“Let’s get to another question you shouldn’t have to answer. People say you are feuding with Florence Pugh. Is there anything you want to say to that?” Colbert asked.

“No. The only thing I want to say to that is that another one of our weird rumors, ‘Spitgate,’ which you might’ve heard about…” she said.

One person on Twitter didn’t agree with Wilde’s answer and accused her of gaslighting.

“To be more specific, she’s gaslighting. There are plenty of receipts that contradict what she claims, including her *own words*. She keeps mixing her story. Many female directors already don’t get asked this. Olivia is severely deflecting,” one person tweeted.
