According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Tatum is slamming Dewan’s request for spousal support as a “delay tactic” to stall their financial settlement and wants a judge to hear the issues in their legal dispute in a single hearing.

Tatum also claims he has provided several settlement offers, but Dewan has turned them all down.

The court document reads, “[Tatum] has extended numerous settlement offers, participated in multiple mediations, and made attempts to directly address issues with [Dewan].”

It continues, “[Dewan’s] request is nothing more than another attempt to kick the can down the road.”

The two recently had another court appearance to address their ongoing dispute, but apparently, Tatum is dissatisfied with how the proceedings unfolded.

Meanwhile, a source close to Tatum claimed that Dewan is the sole reason why the divorce battle has dragged on this long.

The insider alleged that it was due to Dewan’s actions, adding that they “continuously contradict themselves.”

The source added about Tatum’s ex-wife, “She says she wants a fair settlement but is ignoring all post-separation work Channing and his partners have done to enhance Magic Mike. She keeps stalling negotiations but says she wants to resolve this.”

The remarks seemed to be refuted later on by another source, who claimed that Dewan was not dragging on the case because she was “greedy.”

As part of Dewan’s filing in court, she claimed that the “Magic Mike” franchise was “developed and co-financed by Channing during marriage with community effort and marital funds.”

She added that the actor kept out of the loop about the opportunities from the franchise and “collected one hundred percent of the profits” after they had split.

However, Tatum countered her claims, writing in a motion that he “has expended extensive efforts” towards the franchise since the split. This, he claimed, gave rise “to his separate property interest.”
