A NINETIES movie star looked like she was ageing backwards as she appeared in Los Angeles talking about a flop film she starred in that has become a cult hit.

The 51-year-old rose to fame as a child star in 1989, joining the cast of the High School comedy, Saved by The Bell, where she played Jessie Spano.

Now over four decades later, Elizabeth Berkley looks like she hardly aged a day.

After leaving Saved By The Bell to try to break into film, she got the role of Nomi Malone in the controversial 1995 film Showgirls.

The saucy film was widely panned by critics, but over the years has gone on to be a cult classic.

Elizabeth took to the stage and gave a speech particularly thanking the LGBTQ+ community for supporting Showgirls.

The star rocked bright blonde hair, donned a white button-up shirt, a black blazer, and sparkly eyeliner.

Elizabeth received numerous comments praising her on X, formerly known as Twitter.

One user wrote: “She looks amazing.”

Another added: “Crying literally, what a beautiful soul.”

Whilst a third penned: “A queen.”

Defending Elizabeth and Showgirls, a fourth added: “I’m so happy for her—at the time she was just shredded by critics and the public. Glad it’s turned into a positive memory for her.”
