Mo'Nique Sues CBS Over 'Millions' Owed For Television Show 'The Parkers'

Mo’Nique‘s scathing revelations about the entertainment industry continue to win fans’ support, but she has more than words to prove her narrative.

For years, the sensational actress has called out multiple media giants over allegedly blackballing her for speaking out. Shortly after doubling down on her claims, including a trailer explosion from a 2016 movie set, the 56-year-old kept her promise to share evidence.

Mo’Nique Follows Through On Trailer Explosion Claims With New Post

Mo’Nique recently updated her Instagram page with a video from the alleged trailer explosion on the set of the hit holiday movie, “Almost Christmas.” The clip captured several damaged celebrity trailers, with most vehicles reduced to burnt messes.

Firefighters surveyed the scene, while the “Precious” actress could be heard talking to someone in the background. She did not share additional details about the explosion but noted it backed up the story she shared on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast. Her caption read:

“HEY MY SWEET BABIES HERE ARE OUR TRAILERS FROM ALMOST XMAS THAT I SPOKE ABOUT ON CLUB SHAY SHAY DON’T TAKE MY WORD, SEE FOR YOURSELF. I LOVE US 4REAL.”

If fans previously doubted Mo’Nique’s words, this video cleared up all their suspicions as they swiftly became her supporters. The majority declared their faith in the 56-year-old, calling for justice against those they believed had wronged the actress.

“Auntie Mo, I pray to God you get back every red cent you lost out on throughout the years of being lied on and misunderstood. Sending you love,” someone penned. Another wrote, “Story’s remained consistent. Never changed since airing it out.”

“We knew you wasn’t lying auntie. All them people that did you wrong gon get theres fr. I love YOU fr,” a third declared, while a fourth noted this wasn’t the first time Mo’Nique had shared the video. In the individual’s words:

“She posted this back in 2018 & in MAJORITY of the comments, y’all were not on her side…. Telling her to stop complaining & let it go… Somebody could’ve died or got seriously hurt because of negligence. @therealmoworldwide I love YOU for real.”

Mo’Nique Spilled Hot Tea About The Trailer Explosion

During Wednesday’s installment of the “Club Shay Shay” podcast, Mo’Nique sat down for a heart-to-heart interview with Shannon Sharpe and spilled the tea about her grievances in the entertainment industry.

As stated, she opened up about her time in 2016’s “Almost Christmas” movie, sharing how the production was filled with danger thanks to a famous Hollywood figure. She implied producer Will Packer was negligent about the set’s safety, cutting corners and ignoring warning signs.

She alleged he turned a blind eye to complaints about the cast smelling gas near some of their trailers, where they got dressed. Despite being notified of this problem, Packer didn’t take action until the fateful explosion occurred.

Fully aware of the severity of her allegations, Mo’Nique promised to drop evidence to back her claim and happily delivered the shocking video on her IG page. It remains to be seen if she will drop more proof about her other allegations against some of Hollywood’s famous faces.

Mo’Nique Reunited With Netflix After Lawsuit Settlement

Two years before her latest revelations about the entertainment industry, Mo’Nique officially returned to Netflix following a discrimination lawsuit settlement. She sued the streaming platform for being gender and racial-biased in 2019, claiming she was given a “lowball” deal for a comedy special.

After privately settling the matter outside the courtroom, it seemed the 56-year-old no longer held any grudges against Netflix. She appeared in a 2022 video on the platform’s X account, promoting their reunion on a new project.

Mo’Nique noted she would film her first comedy special with the streaming giant, claiming she had finally returned home. The project marked her first major gig in years and a reunion with director Lee Daniels.

“I’m also reuniting with my friend, my brother, Director Mr. Lee Daniels, on the Netflix film The Deliverance,” the entertainer gushed, “You won’t wanna miss either of them. So y’all stay tuned, and thank y’all, my sweet babies.”

Mo’Nique and Daniels previously worked together on the 2009 hit movie “Precious,” which earned the actress an Academy Award for her role as Mary Lee Johnston.
