Larry David Announces Live Shows in Boston and Washington DC

Larry David has been a legendary entertainer on-screen for several decades, but now, fans will get the chance to see him and all of his curmudgeonly charm live in-person. Today, David unveiled the details for “A Conversation with Larry David,” a live event coming to Washington, DC, and Boston this spring.

Hosted by a moderator, “A Conversation with Larry David” will allow audiences to enjoy an informal discussion with the comedian, touching on subjects like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, and more. The Washington, DC date will be hosted at The Anthem on March 29th, and the Boston date will take place at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway on April 1st.

Tickets for the shows will first become available via a Live Nation pre-sale opening on Wednesday (use access code SPOTLIGHT). Then, the general on-sale will open on Friday, February 2nd at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Once tickets are on sale, you can also find them at StubHub, where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program.

Speaking about the upcoming events, David offered a statement: “Hi everyone! It’s Larry. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all. Just so you know, I’ve recently had plastic surgery on my face and the doctor, who everyone raved about, totally botched it, leaving me devoid of all expression. So, if I seem more sour than usual, that’s the reason, but don’t let it stop you from having fun!”

News of the live shows arrives as fans are preparing for the return of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which will air its 12th — and final — season beginning February 4th via Max. For more, read Consequence’s review of the season’s first episode by Liz Shannon Miller.
