Kylie Jenner risks ANOTHER row with Kylie Minogue after failing to trademark her own name

Kylie Jenner has launched her perfume Cosmic which is the name of a song on pop star Kylie Minogue’s 2007 album X

SOMETHING tells me Kylie Jenner might be a superfan of Kylie Minogue.

In 2016 the pair got into a legal battle after the American TV star tried to trademark “Kylie” for advertising and endorsements.

Pop star Kylie sent her legal team in to bat for her.

They argued that Kim Kardashian’s half-sister was a “secondary reality television personality” compared to their client, who they described as an “internationally-renowned performing artist, humanitarian and breast cancer activist known worldwide simply as ‘Kylie’”.

The Aussie pop princess won and the whole saga seemed to be over.

But now TV Kylie has launched her perfume Cosmic . . . which is the name of a song on pop star Kylie’s 2007 album X.

A source said: “After all the saga around the trademark, Kylie Jenner calling her new perfume Cosmic gave Kylie’s lot a bit of a laugh. Kylie really does seem to be a secret super-fan.”

I can see why the reality TV star is so into her pop star namesake, after the singer put on the best performance of the night at Saturday’s Brits.

At the bash at the O2 Arena in London, Jack spoke to Kylie backstage and I managed to grab some time with my all-time favourite British rapper Aitch before we headed off to the after-parties with Warner, Sony and Universal.

Our hangovers were horrible, but they were worth it.
