The three-part mini-series shows the British actor mastering extreme sports and activities.

These include skydiving, rock climbing, and diving underwater without an air tank.

Katy, 39, trepidatiously posted on her Instagram page telling fans to watch Orlando in his new series.

Katy shared the trailer on Thursday and hinted that the entire experience was as stressful for her as it was for him.

‘DON’T DO THIS AGAIN’

She wrote, “The person who has been #OnTheEdge this whole time is ME. Stream baby daddy @orlandobloom’s show on @peacock now to see why I’m so proud, but don’t ever do this again.”

“Legolas living on the edge!” one fan commented.

“We wanted kp6 lead single teaser….” wrote another, hoping for an album rollout.

“I’m so happy for you! You found someone you deserve to have your heart! I can see through your eyes that you are happy and completed,” wrote a third.

DAREDEVIL

In Orlando’s new series, each episode sees him try one of the death-defying sports.

The idea was for Bloom to face his fears and push himself mentally, emotionally, and physically, according to Salon.

He trained for weeks with professionals who taught him skydiving, and he practiced a breathing technique for free diving called a “death table.”

He was guided by experts who monitored him, and he told Salon he called his partner Katy “every night” to assure her that he was okay.

‘CLOSE TO DEATH’

Orlando doesn’t mince words in the trailer as he does each “dangerous” sport.

“This is 100 percent do not fall territory,” a guide tells him as he climbs a 90-degree cliff.

“I had a fall in my twenties that was significant, and I broke my back,” Orlando also admitted in the trailer, showing his back scar.

The clip also showed him practicing free diving, which entails a deep underwater dive while simply holding one’s breath—and struggling.

“This is a deep spiritual journey. I felt about as close to death as I could possibly get.”

‘BOREDOM?’

Psychologist Jo Hemmings suggested Orlando was focused above all on “pushing his boundaries.”

She claimed the adventure enthusiast was managing “threats of boredom” in his life.

“Orlando is stretching himself to his limits in a courageous and public way,” Hemmings told The U.S. Sun.

“But then Orlando and Katy have never been your average Hollywood couple.

“They both feel there are new areas of life to explore and boundaries to break, but individually.

“Katy and Orlando are similar in their need to be relevant, dynamic, and independent.

“Staying engaged long-term has all the commitment without the financial side of marriage, too,” she continued.

“He is also approaching 50, a massive milestone for men.

“He’s proving to himself and Katy that he is as able as he was in his 20s, 30s, and 40s,” she shared.

“This can make a big difference to self-esteem and confidence moving forward.

“Orlando is doing this for himself rather than trying to compete with Katy.”

KATY & ORLANDO

The couple’s relationship journey has not been smooth sailing.

Katy, 39, and Orlando were engaged in 2019, three years after meeting at a Golden Globes afterparty in 2016.

When they split for a while in 2017, it was reportedly because of work pressures.

“Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time,” said a representative at the time.

After getting back together in 2019, Orlando, who shares a son, Flynn, 11, with ex Miranda Kerr, offered insight into their relationship.

“Sometimes things are really, really, really, challenging — I won’t lie,” he told Flaunt magazine.

He revealed the pair were in “very different pools.”

The couple welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove Bloom in 2020, and no wedding is in sight.

“He has often said that they are very different people and that life together has challenges,” the psychologist added.

“They are a little kooky in how they live and present themselves to their fans.

“Orlando feels the need to push himself to a pretty out-there limit

“But marriage might be too complex a subject for them to tackle.”
