Julia Woodford isn’t just a professional coach—she’s a powerhouse of self-love and strength. With a dedicated following on Instagram, she inspires her fans to embrace confidence, movement, and mindfulness. Recently, she shared a heartfelt Valentine’s Day post, reminding everyone to “stop and smell the roses.” But beyond her uplifting mindset, she also prioritizes staying fit and strong. From swimming to strength training, here are five fitness habits Woodford swears by.
Woodford has a lot of confidence in herself. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲. 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐞. 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥. 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥. 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭. 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐙𝐈𝐍𝐆 🌎✨🚀Owning who i am. Allowing my fears to fuel me & fan my flames. The fire in me makes me feel SO alive 🔥 I love this journey & it just keeps getting better and better.”
Woodford likes to swim to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself at the lake. Woodford captioned it, “I have been giving myself all the love it’s been yearning for. I’m keeping my space organised and clean. I have been writing a lot, all the things I’m letting go of, what I’m welcoming in, all the things I’m grateful for, both big and small. I have also been doing a lot of reflection on what I desire to change so I’m ready for my new deep journey I’m moving into. My body is going though a big shift and release at the moment so taking time to pause, sit in solitude and surrender to the softness of just being 🙏🏼”
Woodford shared this video on Instagram of herself working out. One thing she is seen doing in it is RDLs. Woodford captioned it, “Let’s rise together 💪🏼✨Be apart of a community that actually gives a f*ck. Train to feel strong and empowered. Surround yourself with kind, inspiring beings. Working 1:1 with women who are committed to showing up for themselves and online with those who want to get strong and feel amazing.”

In the previous Instagram post, Woodford is seen doing exercises with weights. ACE Fitness says that this is very effective. “Using maximal loads for compound (multi-joint) movements like the deadlift, squat-to-shoulder press, bent-over row or chest press can improve intermuscular coordination, which is the ability of many muscles to work together to generate and control high levels of force through multiple joints.”

Woodford is also seen doing squats in the previous Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says, “The squat is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the squat targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles. Strengthening these muscles can help protect your knees and boost your performance in a variety of sports.”
