Jake Paul has been in talks to rematch Tommy Fury

JAKE PAUL has RESCINDED his “eight-figure” fight offer to Tommy Fury.

The YouTuber-turned boxer has been trying to negotiate a rematch with Fury after losing their blockbuster grudge match last year.

But he put a twist on the deal by tabling terms to run it back in the boxing ring and then complete the trilogy in the MMA cage.

Paul’s side have insisted Fury could earn over £15MILLION for the two-fight series spread across the two sports.

But after failing to hear back it looks as though the deal is off the table.

Paul told SunSport: “It’s an eight-figure deal for a boxing and an MMA fight – more money than he’s ever been offered – but he didn’t take it so the offer isn’t there anymore.

“Quite frankly, he’s going to realise how much he needs me over the next couple of months when he goes to fight someone again and he’s getting offered 75k.

“And the offer is down now, the offer is rescinded first of all and it’s nowhere near that now. He had his opportunity and time to take that.”

Paul, 27, suffered split-decision defeat to Fury, 24, in Saudi Arabia.

But he bounced back with a points win over ex-UFC star Nate Diaz, 38, and a knockout against pro boxer Andre August, 35, in his last bout.

Paul now returns on Saturday night in Puerto Rico against 17-2 Ryan Bourland, 35, the most experienced opponent of his career.

Meanwhile Fury is coming off a controversial points victory over Paul’s arch rival KSI, 30, in October and had hand surgery soon after.

Paul has been in talks with Fury side since the backend of 2023 but is growing frustrated at the apparent wage demands.

He said: “All of his doors that he can open in his career, they all lead to me.

“I can do whatever I want, fight whoever I want and you’re going to see in the very near future.

“I’m on a path to world champion and so if he wants to do it and he’s serious about it then he needs to be realistic around the financial side about it.

“And there’s no one better in this game at business than me so when I’m telling him these things, he has to f***ing listen.”

Fury’s team were contacted for comment.
