A MIDSIZE fashion influencer has showcased what the new Primark “scrunch” sets look like on.
It comes as the fast fashion retailer’s new workout collection hit stores earlier this week.
Fashion fans believe they’re going to overtake Primark’s “seamless” sets, which went viral last year for their versatility and curve-hugging material.
The “scrunch” sets feature a pair of shorts with a ruched bum and ruched sports bra.
They’re part of the L2L Workout range, but are comfy enough to sport as loungewear.
Fashion influencer Livv Louise spotted the sets in her local Primark and later showcased what they looked like on a midsize body.
She picked up a Medium, which is for sizes 10 to 12, in the muted green colour.
“I love the top,” she penned on TikTok.
“But the bottoms are disappointing.
“However, for £9, it’s a cute throw on for around the house.”
The sets also come in hues of green, grey, black and white.
Liv added in the comments that the shorts are “squat proof” and don’t go see-through when stretched.
“The top is really cute, but pre-warning: I didn’t love the shorts,” she said.
“The scrunch shorts in the active section is better.”
According to Liv, you can find the “scrunch” sets next to Primark’s seamless sets.
Scrunch, or ruched, leggings and shorts are designed to enhance your glutes, giving you the illusion of a “bubble butt”.
GymShark designers, who produce a wide range, dubbed them an “industry game changer” when they began producing the design over three years ago.
