Netwon appeared on Good Morning Football on Thursday with former NFL star Brandon Marshall.

The EX QB revealed he would be interested in returning to play only for his hometown, Atlanta Falcons, while explaining that he was happy being a family man who streams.

“Me having a family now, it’s always been about family. I don’t see myself leaving Atlanta.

“If it’s not Atlanta, I don’t want to [come back]…

“Man, I really turned into a Youtuber/full-time dad,” Netwon expressed.

Newton also stopped by The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz on Thursday and shared how he got into doing media and how he is working to make it his subsequent career.

“We’re living in the golden age of media because it’s athlete-generated content, and we have that platform now.

“Gone are the days where people just speaks on how we played or certain situations that may have happened throughout a game.

“Now, athletes are able to control their own narrative. Everybody can start one. You have the means to do so.

“But I don’t think everybody handles hiring the right personnel behind the scenes at the magnitude that sustains longevity.”

Newton highlighted that he got into podcasting and created a media company to “hold reporters, coaches, GMs, as well as players accountable to certain things.”

He expressed he felt he was sometimes covered unfairly during his playing days.

Newton spent 11 seasons in the NFL  and played for two franchises.

The Georgia-born signal caller was a standout high school football player growing up in his state.

He earned a five-star label his senior season and received scholarships from top colleges like Georgia, Florida, Marland, Mississippi State, and Oklahoma.

He attended Florida University before transferring to a junior college in Texas after some off-the-field issues.

Newton excelled at Blinn College and transferred to Auburn University, where he led them to a National Championship title while winning the Heisman the same season.

The Carolina Panthers would select Netwon No. 1 overall in the 2011 NFL draft ahead of future hall-of-fame players Jason Kelce, JJ Watt, and Von Miller.

He took the league by storm and quickly became one of the NFL’s most promising young QBS, starting all sixteen games as a rookie, recording a 6-10 record while throwing 21 touchdowns and 17 interceptions for 4051 yards.

Newton also rushed for 706 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground, earning AP NFL Rookie of the Year.

He would become a franchise centerpiece for the Panthers, starting in 108 of the 109 games he appeared in over his ten seasons.

Newton won league MVP in 2015, and in that same season, he led Carolina to the Super Bowl, where Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos defeated them.

The Panthers released Newton in 2020 after failing to find a trade partner for him and signed with the  New England Patriots.

He would play under NFL legend Bill Belichick one season, going 7-8 as the Patriots’ starting quarterback.

Newton last appeared with the Panthers in 2021, earning over $133 million in his 11 seasons in the NFL.
