A WOMAN has revealed that she was 18-years-old when she met her 34-year-old man.
Jess explained that she was a weekend caregiver when she ended up meeting her now-husband.

Posting on social media, Jess opened up about how she began dating her man, and revealed that trolls aren’t too keen on her relationship.
She said: “I was 18 and he was 34 when we started dating. And that seemed to make a lot of you really upset.
“That man literally made me work to get even the slightest remote attention from him.
“He wanted nothing to do with me when we first met each other, I was working for his great aunt and uncle.
“I was pre-med when we first met and I was working for his paraplegic uncle on the weekends, being his weekend caregiver.
“I was not looking for anything serious when I pursued him. I literally said ‘this will be a one time thing’, because I was in my ‘I’m gonna be wild stage’, because I had just ended what I would have considered at that time, a long-term relationship, where I had moved in with that guy and thought I was going to be the high-school sweetheart.
“My now husband really wanted nothing to do with me when I started to pursue him.”
Jess then added: “People are so upset at our age gap.
“This is my story, not yours.”
Jess, who describes herself as a ‘feral wife’, who is 16 years younger than her husband, later added: “Love me for my shock value or hate me for my honesty. I sleep the same either way.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @thats_just_jess, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has quickly gone viral and has since racked up a staggering 2.6 million views.
But social media users were divided at the clip – while some were keen to share their age gap relationships, others weren’t keen on Jess’ relationship.
One person said: “We’re an age gap couple as well. He’s 14 years older than I am and we’ve been married 34 years. I was 19 when we met and he was 33.”
Another added: “I was 19 and he was 35. Your story is SO similar to ours. Except I worked for him. He was my boss.”
A third commented: “My wife and I are an age gap couple, she was 18, I was 32. We’ve been married 31 years.”
Meanwhile, someone else posted: “This is crazy!”
Another claimed: “That’s sick.”
Someone else shared: “It’s still very creepy, I’m sorry.”
Whilst another asked: “Yeah no the fact that you ended up together at all while you were under 20 is still gross. Would you let your daughter?”
Not only this, but another user wrote: “The age gap is not a problem. It’s the fact that you were still a teenager while he was almost 40.
“When you reach his age ask yourself if you would ever consider an 18 year old teenage boy. If the answer is no then yeah everything said.”
