HAILEY Bieber has been the butt of one of the many jokes that 2024 Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel made during the prestigious award show.
Jimmy didn’t spare anyone’s feelings when it came to how he delivered his harsh opening monologue at the 2024 Oscars.

Jimmy, 56, entertained the audience before heading into award nominations with a comedic spiel that was a bit abrasive.
He used his chops to take a jab at those who benefit from nepotism through a tailor-made joke with Hailey, 27, as the punchline.
“Heavily botoxed, Hailey Bieber smoothie drinking, diabetes prescription abusing, gluten sensitive nepo babies with perpetually shivering chihuahuas…,” Jimmy spat on the live awards show.
Although Hailey doesn’t check all the boxes in the late-night talk show host’s rant, she does fulfill two of them.
The model does have a signature smoothie named after her at the upscale grocery store Erewhon.
She is also considered a “Nepo Baby” since her father, Stephen Baldwin, 57, is a well-known movie star.
Celebrity children gained the nickname “Nepo Baby” in 2022, as The U.S. Sun reported in 2023.
The term stands for a person who has benefited from nepotism; in other words, those who have “made it” in their career from their parents’ fame.

‘UNPROVOKED & MEAN’
While Jimmy might have thought his joke would be a hit, it was actually a miss from the perspective of many Oscars watchers.
On X, fka Twitter, many fans called him out for his insensitive comment about 30-year-old Justin Bieber’s wife.
“This was so unprovoked and mean,” one person wrote on X.
A second fan raged, “A grown man trying to bully a woman decades younger than him and he’s not embarrassed???”
“Once again a man coming for a woman out of the blue just to throw unnecessary hate,” someone else said.
Another person concurred, “He should stay in a man’s place and be quiet.”
“The jealousy she receives from both men and women is so weird,” someone else added.
TOUGH TIMES AHEAD?
Jimmy’s joke could be the tip of the iceberg for Hailey.
Mid-last week, Hailey shared a simple text image on her Instagram Stories, supposedly tackling speculation about her marriage to Justin.
Hailey’s update came after months of rumors that she and Justin were headed for divorce, and she directly called out TikTok videos on the topic.
“Just FYI the constant ‘blind items’ I see on TikTok are 100% of the time wrong. Made out of thin air…
“Come from the land of delusion…
“So I know it may be fun feeding into these stories but just know they’re always false… sorry to spoil it,” the Victoria’s Secret model wrote on a black screen.
‘SHE’S BOTHERED BOTHERED’
On Reddit, however, people took Hailey’s firm words as a clue that something was up between her and Justin.
“This only fuels my curiosity,” said one.
“If you have to go to this extreme a length to say something and it’s affecting you THAT much… There’s probably some truth to what is being said in the blinds lmao if it wasn’t true it would not bother her to this extent,” a second social media user wrote.
“Oh she’s bothered bothered,” said a third.
“The lady doth protest too much, methinks,” another fan agreed.
“She’s legit confirming it basically. If it’s not true why address them? She didn’t address any blind items that were there before. She’s spiraling because everyone knows now,” a final commenter judged.
