During Monday’s episode of Good Morning America, John, 60, made a desperate plea to George, 62.

The actor was on the show to promote his memoir, If You Would Have Told Me, but he had so much more planned.

As his segment opened, John snuck in a suggestion for the host, saying: “George, it’s not too late.

“Please run for president.”

George, along with costars Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer chuckled before he replied: “Greeks have to stick together.”

It’s unclear if the GMA personality has any plans to ditch the desk for the White House.

One thing is for sure, however: The panel loves John.

The GMA Instagram account posted a sweet photo of everyone posing alongside the General Hospital star.

“We love spending a morning with @johnstamos,” the caption read.

TOUGH TIMES

George and his wife Ali Wentworth have been struggling big time as of late and the behind-the-scenes drama has kept the host from the show.

Ali, 58, shared a pic of herself and George at a gala for the Good + Foundation, a non-profit meant to dismantle multi-generational poverty, on October 19.

Jim Gaffigan and Kevin Hart also appeared in the snap.

“During dark times laughter can be medicinal. @goodplusfdn raised money last night to scaffold low-income families and dismantle multi-generational poverty.

“Friends and family came together. And the best of the best comedians gave us a much-needed escape.”

Ali also performed during the event, sharing some photos of that in her carousel of snaps.

She and George have been grappling with some major challenges.

The GMA personality’s mother died at 90 years old earlier this month.

COPING WITH COOPER

Prior to her upbeat post, Ali shared a photo of her alongside what she referred to as her emotional support dog Cooper on her Instagram feed.

The caption on the post read: ‘Emotional support dog,” and in the picture she had her arms wrapped around the pooch.

Ali had her hair down straight around her shoulders and looked cozy in a baggy blue sweatshirt.

Cooper, meanwhile, leaned into Ali in the photo.

In addition to dealing with the death of George’s mother, George and Ali have been missing their daughter Harper.

The teen went off to college and her parents have been missing her immensely.

Ali, for her part, has seemingly been relying on Cooper to cope with her loneliness.
