General Hospital Spoilers: Réal Andrews Addresses Taggert GH Exit Concerns – ‘A Great Way to Go Out’

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Réal Andrews (Marcus Taggert) has been getting a lot of questions about his GH status, so he decided to make a video and clear things up. Andrews shared that video on X, the social media app formerly known as Twitter, so let’s talk about what he revealed.

“Curious about Taggert’s return to General Hospital? Wondering when we’ll see him back in action? Watch this video to know more,” Andrews said in the post that accompanied the clip.

In Andrew’s message, he suggested he was like “clean-up” on baseball and vowed to hit a homerun whenever he’s called up to bat.

“I cannot be and have no desire to be concerned about when I’m working or why I’m not working…All I can control is what I can control and that’s that when I am called, I’m ready and I show up with excellence,” Andrews said.

Andrews was proud of his last scenes on the show in the aftermath of Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) true paternity revelation, so he feels good about where he left off.

“If that’s the last thing I ever do on General Hospital, it was a great way to go out,” Réal Andrews insisted.

Bottom line, Andrews doesn’t have any say over when they choose to bring Marcus Taggert back on the show, so he’s just rolling with whatever they give him and is always willing to show up for a quality performance.

Many fans have complained about Taggert being shoved aside in favor of Trina’s biological father now that she’s all about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and even calls him “Dad.”

We get that Curtis has gone through a rough time and needs his daughter’s support, but Taggert needs her love, too!

GH viewers will recall how Taggert struggled with drinking issues due to his sorrow, so it’d be nice to see Trina keep in touch with the dad who raised her instead of just leaving him to wallow in pain.

Although Andrews didn’t have any info on a return airdate, he did reply to multiple X accounts to suggest that they should “stay tuned for more exciting stuff.”
