General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is still trying to nail down who’s responsible for the chaos at the Metro Court pool recently. Although Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) hasn’t completely ruled out Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as a potential target, Anna makes the most sense.
Based on the evidence so far, Anna’s baffled since this case seems to be connected to the WSB, but it was a sloppy mission.
It’s possible someone’s gone rogue, but it’s also possible someone’s trying to throw Anna off the trail or even mess with her head.
Of course, we can think of one person who might want to target Anna – and she happens to be someone who would love playing mind games with her, too.
Could Alex Marick (Finola Hughes) be alive and out for revenge on her twin sister?
Alex has a knack for cheating a grim fate and returning to become a big problem for Anna all over again.
No matter how many times Anna thinks she’s put Alex behind her, her sister is always going to pop back up for more drama.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is off helping Laura Collins (Genie Francis) search for Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) in Chechnya, but he might return and join Anna in facing off against Alex eventually.
There might even be a situation where Valentin has to come home and play the hero.
Perhaps Valentin will ultimately save Anna from another round of Alex’s trickery.
Regardless, the mystery culprit after Anna must be someone with a vendetta as well as someone fans would recognize.
GH writers are setting the stage for a big reveal, so could Alex Marick return and let Finola Hughes step into her shoes once again?
It’d be fun to see Alex get back in the mix, so we’ll see if Anna and Dante’s investigation will point toward her or to some other shocking villain.
