General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) recently announced that she’d join Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) in Amsterdam for a difficult task. Tracy admitted she’s going to help sort out Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) affairs, so this is a somber yet necessary job.
Of course, it was previously mentioned that Bobbie was offscreen sorting out Luke’s affairs back in July.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) talked about that right after Bobbie sold her Kelly’s for a dollar, so Bobbie’s been working on Luke’s affairs for quite a while.
Now Tracy is ready to tackle whatever messes Luke left behind as well, but we want to focus on Bobbie for a moment since Tracy brought her up.
Sadly, we can’t discuss Bobbie Spencer without discussing the demise of her portrayer since Jacklyn Zeman passed away in May.
That was a difficult blow for the GH family, but most of us are eager to see the show honor Zeman’s memory and give Bobbie a proper sendoff.
It’ll be hard to watch everyone in Port Charles grieve the loss too, but it’s necessary since they can’t keep explaining away Bobbie’s absence forever.
There’ll come a point when Bobbie will have to face a grim fate of her own, so it could happen during this Amsterdam trip.
Luke lost his life in a cable car crash there thanks to Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) dastardly plan, but Bobbie could face a genuine accident.
There might be a collision on a road somewhere in Amsterdam – or maybe Bobbie’s plane could crash on the flight home.
Then again, Bobbie could face another type of emergency or even lose her life saving someone else in distress.
Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) got a heroic exit where she used her medical skills, so Bobbie might get a similar departure.
Whatever the case, Bobbie will never come home from Amsterdam unless the writers decide to have her perish in Port Charles somewhere down the line.
It makes more sense for Bobbie to face a grim fate on her trip, especially since Tracy can offer updates on the crushing news.
General Hospital spoilers say Jacklyn Zeman will get a wonderful tribute at some point, so stay tuned to see how the show will honor Bobbie Spencer and help fans bid her farewell.
