KATE Beckinsale has sparked fresh fears over her health after revealing she is still in hospital two weeks after being admitted for an undisclosed condition.

The 50-year-old shared photos of herself on social media wearing make-up and cat pyjamas as she was visited by her close friend Jonathan Voluck.

Smiling for the camera, the Los Angeles-based actress appeared to be in good spirits, but the reason for her lengthy hospital stay remains a mystery.

Now fans of the star are becoming increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

One said: “I see the sadness behind your eyes, I hope you are going to be ok.”

Another said: “We love you, hope you are on the mend.”

“Hi Kate, I hope all is well?”, another asked.

While another wrote: “Sending prayers for a speedy recovery.”

The mother-of-one has been through a tumultuous time recently.

She has been caring for her mother Judy Loe while her stepfather Roy Battersby, who had been battling two types of cancer, died in January aged 87 after suffering a stroke.

In February the Underworld star was left “paralysed, sick and sickened” when her late stepfather, an acclaimed TV and film director, was left out of the In memoriam section at the BAFTAS.

In a furious Instagram post, Kate shared an image of Roy from 1996, when he won the Alan Clarke Award.

She then wrote: “BAFTA told me they could not guarantee he would be included “in memoriam”… So a man dead less than a week has to audition to decide if his death is worth mentioning.”

Since then sources have suggested Kate, whose biological father Richard Beckinsale died of a heart attack in 1979 aged just 31, “hasn’t been doing or feeling well” but is “doing her best to take care of herself”.

Another insider explained that in the lead up to her stepfather’s death, Kate was spotted crying in hospital corridors and feeling out of sorts as she works hard to process the tidal wave of grief.

Last month, she shared a picture of Roy’s order of service that revealed he was cremated on Monday February 19 at Mortlake Crematorium near Kew in West London.

Kate, who divides her time between Chiswick in West London where her mother Judy lives and her home in LA, has a daughter Lily Sheen, 25, from her relationship with actor, Michael Sheen.
